Billie Eilish Calls Elon Musk a ‘Coward’ as Tesla CEO Nears Trillionaire Status: “F–king Pathetic”

Tech billionaire Elon Musk is reportedly closing in on becoming the first person in history with a net worth approaching $1 trillion — a milestone that drew a pointed rebuke from pop star Billie Eilish.

In response to reports about Musk’s escalating wealth, Eilish shared a series of infographics on Instagram outlining ways someone with that level of resources could address pressing global problems — from eradicating hunger and disease to funding reconstruction in Gaza and protecting endangered wildlife — instead of hoarding the majority of their fortune.

On Thursday, November 13, 2025, Eilish added a blunt caption to her Story: “f—king pathetic p—y b—h coward.”

Billboard has contacted Tesla for comment.

The post follows a shareholder vote last week that, according to reporting, could entitle Musk to as much as $1 trillion in Tesla stock if certain performance targets are met over the next decade. Musk is already cited as the world’s richest person, with an estimated net worth of about $465 billion, per Forbes.

Earlier, at the Wall Street Journal Innovator Awards on October 29, 2025, Eilish announced she would donate $11.5 million raised on her Hit Me Hard and Soft Tour to groups working on environmental issues and combating world hunger.

Addressing a room that included many high-net-worth attendees — among them Meta founder Mark Zuckerberg — Eilish asked, “If you are a billionaire, why are you a billionaire?” She then added, “No hate, but give your money away, shorties.”
