U Films will release the drama “Resurrection” by Chinese director Bi Gan on January 22, 2026. The picture will debut in Russia as part of the Karo/Art festival in Moscow and at the Message to Man festival in Saint Petersburg.
The film is set in a far-off future where people have all but lost the ability to dream. Its protagonist is an enigmatic being fascinated by the mystery of vanished dreams. He crosses paths with an extraordinary woman who can travel through other people’s dreamscapes.
“Resurrection” is structured as an anthology of six tales, each one probing different dimensions of human feeling.
