Chinese model and filmmaker I Zhou has accused Avengers actor Jeremy Renner of indecent conduct and domestic violence. The 38-year-old says Renner began sending her sexually suggestive messages while they were collaborating on the documentary “Disney Chronicles.” He allegedly messaged her repeatedly and sent intimate photographs.
The correspondence reportedly turned into a private relationship after Renner persuaded Zhou he was genuinely interested. They became romantically involved, though the actor is said to have kept the affair out of the public eye. Zhou claims he also failed to promote her project despite a previously agreed arrangement. According to her, the relationship brought neither joy nor peace; she says he continually bombarded her with explicit images, treating that as normal.
According to Zhou, the situation escalated beyond photos. During a work meeting at his home, Renner allegedly became heavily intoxicated and aggressive. Fearing for her safety, Zhou sent her location to friends. When she asked him to behave, she says he threatened to call immigration authorities.
Jeremy Renner, speaking to Page Six, denied Zhou’s allegations, calling them “inaccurate” and “not true.”
