Ariana Grande Shows More Magical ‘Harry Potter’ Impressions, Tackling Even Trickier Characters
Ariana Grande Unveils Another Hilarious Round of Harry Potter Impressions

Ariana Grande has returned with an entertaining new collection of Harry Potter character impressions, expertly tackling a fresh batch of iconic figures including Draco Malfoy, Professor McGonagall, Argus Filch, and Luna Lovegood.
In a recent promotional video shared on TikTok for her cosmetics line, R.E.M. Beauty, the pop sensation showcased her vocal versatility while highlighting the brand’s plumping lip gloss. Alongside the aforementioned Hogwarts residents, Grande delivered remarkably accurate interpretations of house-elf Kreacher’s gravelly cadence and the distinctly high-pitched, unsettling giggle of Ministry of Magic official Dolores Umbridge.
“Gryffindor! Plumping lip gloss!” she exclaimed, treating fans to a spot-on vocalization of the legendary Sorting Hat.
Known for her uncanny ability to seamlessly shift her voice into pitch-perfect impersonations, the Grammy Award-winning artist delighted followers once again, building upon a previous magical showcase shared last July. That initial installment featured impressions of Hermione Granger, Bellatrix Lestrange, and Ron Weasley, drawn from J.K. Rowling’s timeless literary universe.
This lighthearted content arrives shortly after the Wicked star secured her seventh number-one album on the Billboard 200 with Petal, released on July 31, which features the chart-topping lead single “Hate That I Made You Love Me.” While Grande is currently on tour supporting her 2024 full-length project, Eternal Sunshine, she recently announced plans to step away from the public eye once the trek concludes in early September.
“She looks forward to finishing the tour on a high note, both healthily and happily, and subsequently taking a much-deserved break from public-facing work and appearances that have unfortunately invited ongoing scrutiny,” her representative shared on August 2.
The hiatus announcement coincided with intense online discourse regarding her appearance in the music video for the title track, “Petal.” Addressing concertgoers in Chicago shortly afterward, Grande clarified that her decision was independent of online negativity.
“The announcement made yesterday was not a reactive or impulsive choice,” she told her audience on August 3. “It is something I decided upon long ago—a carefully considered plan born from an empowered mindset.”
Grande’s profound affection for the wizarding franchise is well-documented. More than a decade ago, actor Tom Felton—who famously played Draco Malfoy—suggested on social media that the singer belonged in Gryffindor, prompting Grande to reveal that her official Pottermore sorting placed her firmly in Slytherin.
