Arcade MOBA BarbarQ 2 Coming to Mobile on January 6
The popular BarbarQ sequel is set for a global release.
BBQ Studio has released a new trailer for BarbarQ 2 and confirmed a global launch date — January 6, 2026. The game will arrive on Android and iOS smartphones.
BarbarQ 2 expands on the original BarbarQ, which became a Google Play hit with more than 10 million downloads. The sequel amplifies the signature “chaotic fun” formula: players can expect three-way 3 vs 3 vs 3 battles, playful modes with distinctive rules, and a robust clan system.
The developers promise enhanced clan progression: players will be able to found settlements, recruit warriors, explore islands, and rebuild villages using resources gathered in combat.
According to BBQ Studio, BarbarQ 2 will be “a lighthearted adventure in a barbarian world,” combining PvP and PvE activities, short matches, and extensive customization options.
Beyond mobile platforms, BarbarQ 2 already has pages on Steam and the PlayStation Store — releases on these platforms could follow later.
