The player base is now setting its sights on the third expedition.
The second expedition phase of Arc Raiders (the voluntary wipe) has officially drawn to a close. Participants were rewarded with bonus skill points, an experience boost, and a surplus of resources and repair kits courtesy of the vendor known as “Plushkin.”
In addition to these gameplay benefits, Embark Studios rolled out new cosmetic incentives, specifically offering expanded customization options for the “Tatters” skin—a reward originally granted during the first wipe.
As the community begins to share their feedback, the reception appears polarized, with some players expressing notable disappointment:
Despite the critiques, a segment of the audience remains satisfied with the updates, praising the new color palettes and the ability to integrate “armor” plating into the skin’s design.
Interestingly, a recent technical glitch in Arc Raiders inadvertently leaked potential rewards for the third expedition (pictured on the left). While this specific aesthetic was met with widespread approval, players will have to wait several more months for the next official season to begin.
