Apex Legends to Feature Street Fighter 6 Crossover and New Mode
Apex Legends will receive a Street Fighter 6 crossover on September 22 that will introduce a new mode, a special version of the Olympus map, abilities, gear, and cosmetic items.
The Apex Legends x Street Fighter 6 event will launch across all platforms. Players will enter a special version of Olympus featuring arcade cabinets, Blanka-chan balloons, and Luke’s gym. Destroying Punch Trucks will let players collect tokens for the Fight Gauge meter and activate Fighter Form.
In this form, the game shifts to a third-person perspective, unlocking new tactical abilities and super moves, enhancing close-range combat, allowing players to block attacks, and increasing mobility. Survivors who make it to the final round will enter the Showdown, a final battle where everyone activates Fighter Form and previously eliminated players return to the fight.
Four Fighter Gear bundles will also be available: Ryu provides increased mobility and Shin Shoryuken, Chun-Li offers wall running and Kikosho, Akuma grants energy projectiles and Shun Goku Satsu, and Dhalsim brings low gravity and Yoga Sunburst.
Players can look forward to themed outfits for Ryu, Chun-Li, Elena, Luke, Akuma, Cammy, Blanka, and Dhalsim, alongside eight legendary weapon skins, skydive animations, holosprays, and other rewards.
