Game Radio

Update 1.60 introduces Game Radio, an integrated audio system designed to deepen your immersion on the open road. Rather than a static list, this feature offers five unique stations, each with its own curated identity and mood to suit your journey.

Game Radio Interface

Whether you prefer high-energy rock, mellow lo-fi, or top-charting pop, you can tune into Rust FM, Escape, PUMP IT!, Pop Gear, and Roadio. We’ve handpicked the tracks to ensure they hold up over long hauls. Notably, “Escape” is specifically curated to be stream-safe for content creators.

A new in-game widget provides real-time artist and track information, which can be easily managed via the F6 menu. This update lays the groundwork for the radio system, with more expansions planned for the future. For full details, check out our dedicated blog post.

Advanced Material System

We are rolling out an Improved Material System to enhance the visual fidelity of truck interiors. By upgrading how surfaces respond to light, we’ve achieved a more realistic look that highlights the distinct textures of leather, fabric, metal, and plastic, even in challenging lighting conditions.

Interior material upgrades

Starting with the Mack Anthem and Western Star 49X, this technology will be gradually applied to our entire vehicle fleet. For a deeper look at the tech behind this, visit our feature blog.

Visual and Quality-of-Life Refinements

  • Lighting Overhaul: We’ve polished global lighting, balancing exposure and contrast while refining the atmospheric look during inclement weather.
  • Company Paint Jobs: Customize your trucks and trailers with new, professional-grade liveries inspired by in-game companies. These designs have been uniquely adapted to fit the geometry of every trailer type.
  • Kenworth TourAmerica: As a free bonus, we’ve added the classic TourAmerica paint jobs for the Kenworth W900 and T680 2022, honoring the history of American trucking.
  • Job Details Widget: Access critical cargo information, income, and delivery data at a glance without pausing the game. Additionally, your GPS now provides estimated arrival times and remaining travel distance.
  • Dynamic Rest Mechanics: You now have full control over your rest stops. Choose exactly how long you sleep and when to wake up. We have also separated the Fatigue system into distinct “Rest State” and “Mandatory Break” indicators for clearer UI feedback.

Changelog Summary

  • Vehicles: Custom company liveries, Kenworth TourAmerica designs.
  • Visuals: Advanced material rendering, global lighting adjustments.
