AMD Radeon RX 9070 GPUs Appear in Steam Hardware Survey for the First Time
Gamers have increasingly begun adopting modern AMD graphics cards, which are now establishing a measurable presence within the Steam community.
Valve periodically conducts hardware surveys among Steam users to track market trends. In early 2026, the company released findings detailing the hardware landscape as of December 2025.
For the first time, the AMD Radeon RX 9070—which debuted in March 2025—has appeared in the rankings of the most widely used video cards.
The market share for the AMD Radeon RX 9070 remains modest at 0.22%. On the leaderboard, it is currently positioned between the Intel HD Graphics 4600 (0.23%) and the AMD Radeon RX 5500 XT (0.22%).
By way of comparison, the adoption rates for the NVIDIA RTX 50-series lineup are significantly higher:
