Amanda Seyfried and Her Husband Split After Nine Years of Marriage
Amanda Seyfried and Thomas Sadoski have announced their separation following nine years of marriage. The actors shared with PEOPLE that they have been living apart for some time and have reached the mutual conclusion that this step is in the best interest of their family. They emphasized their commitment to maintaining an amicable relationship moving forward.
Seyfried and Sadoski first crossed paths in 2015 while working on the off-Broadway production The Way We Get By, reuniting a year later on the set of the film The Last Word. Their romance blossomed in 2016, leading to a private wedding ceremony in March 2017. The couple shares two children, a daughter named Nina and a son, Thomas Jr.
For years, the couple largely shielded their private life from the spotlight, residing with their children on a farm in upstate New York. As recently as January 2026, Seyfried spoke to Vogue about her husband’s unwavering support and his willingness to prioritize her career aspirations alongside his own.
