Director Sarik Andreasyan has officially announced the actress chosen to embody Natasha Rostova in his highly anticipated cinematic adaptation of “War and Peace.” The iconic literary heroine will be portrayed by Polina Gukhman, known for her performance in “Reservation.”
Gukhman joins a primary cast that already features Stanislav Bondarenko as Andrei Bolkonsky, Alexander Metelkin as Nikolai Rostov, and Matvey Lykov as Anatole Kuragin.
This fresh reimagining of Leo Tolstoy’s masterpiece is scheduled to make its theatrical debut on February 18, 2027.
