A24 Thriller “The Front Room” to be Released in Russia
Volga Film is set to bring the latest A24 production, “Onslaught,” to Russian audiences, with the premiere scheduled for September 24.
The story centers on Celeste (Adria Arjona), a single mother raising her daughter in a secluded, abandoned trailer park. Their quiet life is shattered when a group of genetically engineered super-soldiers escapes from a nearby high-security laboratory. Drawing on her hidden past as a former sniper, Celeste finds herself thrust into a brutal fight for survival as she stops at nothing to protect her family from the ensuing carnage.
The film is helmed by writer and director Adam Wingard, known for his work on “You’re Next” and “Godzilla vs. Kong.” The cast also features Dan Stevens in a key role.
Volga continues its partnership with A24, having previously distributed other notable titles from the studio, including “Dream Scenario” and “I Saw the TV Glow.”
