San Diego Welcomes New Winter Electronic Festival: Temper Debuts at Petco Park

San Diego’s winter events calendar is heating up with the announcement of Temper, a brand-new electronic music festival set to make its debut this December.
Scheduled for Wednesday, December 30, Temper will take over Petco Park for an action-packed pre-New Year’s Eve celebration. The inaugural lineup boasts a heavy-hitting roster of bass music royalty and techno innovators, featuring heavyweight acts such as Zeds Dead, Crankdat, Whethan, G Jones, Mary Droppinz, Distinct Motive, and a high-energy b2b set from Levity and Richard Finger, alongside hard techno powerhouse Sara Landry.
The festival’s diverse bill also extends to forward-thinking electronic artist Ninajirachi, an exclusive vocal DJ set from singer-songwriter Tiffany Day, plus performances by Starjunk 95, Bad Girl Bailey, and numerous other supporting acts.
Spanning across three distinct stages positioned both on the iconic Petco Park field and its surrounding concourses, Temper promises an elevated attendee experience. According to organizers, the event will feature meticulously curated environments and cutting-edge visual production. The festival is spearheaded by LED Presents, a premier electronic music promoter known for orchestrating year-round citywide events at popular San Diego venues like Gallagher Square, EQ, and Quartyard.
Alongside its marquee festivals, LED Presents maintains a robust schedule of upcoming performances throughout the region. The autumn calendar features standout shows from artists such as Whethan, Nitefreak, Borgore, and Chase & Status, leading right up to the grand year-end finale at Temper.
Fans looking to secure their spot can access the exclusive ticket presale beginning August 10 at 12 p.m. PT, followed by the general public ticket release on August 11 at noon PT.
