8 New TV Shows to Watch This Weekend on Streaming

As the fall season approaches, streaming services have packed their TV schedules with new releases. The lineup features Guy Ritchie’s action series, an offbeat sports comedy starring Glen Powell, and several long-running favorites on Netflix.

The Gentlemen returns for a second season to follow Eddie Horniman (Theo James) and his illegal cannabis empire. Chad Powers also returns for a second season, bringing more disguise-heavy comedy from Glen Powell. The new season finds his character struggling to maintain a fake identity as a football talent using prosthetics and a cheap wig.

Guy Ritchie brings back the second season of The Gentlemen, which adapts his 2019 movie of the same name. The Gentlemen is visually stunning, filled with luxurious sets, gorgeous costumes, and the high-energy chase scenes and chaotic shootouts Ritchie does so well. But the director also has too many close-up shots of cast members speaking directly at the camera that fail to take advantage of all the sumptuous scenery.
