The 69th edition of the London Film Festival has concluded. The festival’s grand prize was awarded to Lucrecia Martel’s documentary ‘Our Land’.
The film premiered out of competition at the Venice Film Festival. It tells the story of the assassination of Latin American activist Javier Chocobar (1941–2009), who fought for the rights of indigenous peoples.
Previous winners at the London festival have included Andrey Zvyagintsev’s ‘Loveless’, ‘Another Round’, ‘Memoirs of a Snail’, and others.
