007 First Light Major Graphics Update Gets Release Date
IO Interactive has announced the release date for an upcoming update to 007 First Light, which will introduce full path tracing and DLSS 4.5 Ray Reconstruction.
Although the James Bond title launched with impressive visuals, the developer acknowledged that the game had not yet reached its full graphical potential. That will change with the integration of NVIDIA’s lighting simulation technology.
Path tracing is scheduled to arrive in 007 First Light on September 15, 2026. The patch will also incorporate Ray Reconstruction as part of DLSS 4.5 support. The update is designed to upgrade the game’s presentation and take advantage of high-performance gaming PCs.
