In a rare turn of events for the prolific singer-songwriter, Zach Bryan has officially canceled a concert for the first time in his career. The country artist announced on Friday, April 3, that his scheduled performance in Oklahoma would be scrapped due to the imminent threat of severe weather conditions.

Reaching out to his “fellow Oklahomans” via social media, Bryan expressed his frustration over the decision. “My team is forcing me to call off tonight’s show because of the risk of extreme and dangerous weather,” he explained. Bryan emphasized his track record of reliability, noting, “I have never abandoned a stage in my life, but unfortunately, the choice has been taken out of my hands.”

Fans who purchased tickets for the Tulsa appearance can expect a seamless reimbursement process. Bryan confirmed that refunds will be issued automatically through the original points of purchase, requiring no additional action from concertgoers.

The “I Remember Everything” singer is currently navigating his With Heaven on Tour, which featured a planned double-header at the H.A. Chapman Stadium in Tulsa. While Friday’s set has been canceled, his follow-up performance on Saturday, April 4, is currently expected to proceed as scheduled.

The cancellation comes as local meteorologists warn of violent winds and torrential downpours descending upon the Tulsa region. To provide context for the last-minute change, Bryan shared a text exchange from his management team detailing a safety summit involving local law enforcement, school officials, and weather experts. The consensus was that proceeding with the event would jeopardize public safety. Bryan’s personal reaction to the news was a blunt, “Are you kidding?”

This tour serves as a live celebration of his chart-topping album, With Heaven on Top, which debuted at the summit of the Billboard 200. Following his homecoming dates in Oklahoma, Bryan is slated to perform across Kentucky, North Carolina, Nebraska, and Mississippi before launching the European leg of the tour in late May.
