Yungblud has been advised by medical professionals to stop performing for the remainder of 2025, but his headlining Australian run in January 2026 will proceed as planned, promoters say.

The Doncaster-born singer revealed on Instagram on November 16, 2025, that routine vocal and blood tests following his recent tour returned results that prompted his doctors to order an immediate break. In his message he explained that the findings raised concerns and that he must step back from live dates to avoid lasting harm.

Frontier Touring confirmed the January shows will continue as scheduled. The promoter noted that while Yungblud’s remaining concerts in the U.S., Mexico and Latin America have been cancelled through the end of 2025, the Australian engagements for January 2026 remain unaffected. “We’re looking forward to seeing Yungblud in January and extend our best wishes while he takes some time to rest and recover,” the promoter added.

The Australian run—his largest headline series in the region to date—kicks off on January 10, 2026, at Qudos Bank Arena in Sydney and includes arena and outdoor dates across Melbourne, Adelaide, Brisbane and Perth. A second Brisbane date, scheduled for January 18, 2026, was added after strong demand.

Known for relentless touring and high-energy performances, Yungblud acknowledged that enforced downtime is difficult. “It is in my nature to run and run until I run myself to the ground,” he wrote, adding that this pause is necessary to prevent long-term damage to his health.

The January shows arrive as the artist prepares the next chapter of his release cycle following a year of festival appearances, international dates and previews of new material across Europe and North America.

Ticket-holders affected by the cancelled U.S., Mexico and Latin America dates should consult the original point of purchase or the artist’s official channels for refund and rescheduling information.
