Director, screenwriter and producer Taylor Sheridan — best known for Yellowstone and Wind River — is set to leave Paramount for Universal, media outlets report.
The agreement with his new company will take effect in 2026 and will apply to both feature films and television series. According to TheWrap, the deal is worth in excess of $1 billion.
During his time at Paramount, Sheridan developed Yellowstone and its spin-offs 1883 and 1923, as well as Mayor of Kingstown and Landman.
