Xbox Game Pass Adds Two Games Today, Including the So-Called “Grand Theft Cthulhu”
November has kicked off energetically for Xbox Game Pass subscribers. Two new titles have just arrived on the service and are worth noting.
The first arrival — Dead Static Drive — is available via Game Pass Ultimate, PC Game Pass, Cloud, Console, and PC. The game blends survival-horror with a road-trip thriller vibe; many players have already dubbed it “Grand Theft Cthulhu.” Set in 1980s America, it puts you on a nightmarish drive through small towns where grotesque creatures and supernatural phenomena lurk. The project pairs classic horror ambiance with retro aesthetics and an unsettling, Lovecraftian tone.
The second addition — Sniper Elite: Resistance — has returned to Game Pass Premium and is available on consoles and PC. You step into the boots of an elite sniper operating in occupied France. The game features realistic ballistics, refined stealth mechanics, and tactical third-person engagements. The full campaign is playable cooperatively.
