World of Trucks: Recharging Our Events

To our dedicated community,

Over the years, our World of Trucks initiatives have grown into a cornerstone of our collective adventure. From uncovering regional economies in our Cruising series to achieving international milestones in Trade Connections, or even rebuilding vital landmarks during Operation Genoa Bridge, every event has brought us together. We have also enjoyed whimsical seasonal celebrations like the Witches of Brackenreach and Woven Wonders of Winterland, each offering a unique way to experience the road together.

Today, we are reaching out to our #BestCommunityEver to announce that we will be initiating a temporary hiatus for our World of Trucks events.

This break is a vital step in our development roadmap. To elevate these experiences, we need to dedicate time to modernizing the underlying systems and technical infrastructure. This involves a comprehensive overhaul of how events are managed behind the scenes and how they are presented to you in-game.

Our goal is to integrate the event experience seamlessly into the game client. This will allow players to monitor community progression, track personal achievements, and claim rewards directly in-game, creating a more cohesive and immersive experience.

In-game Development Preview

We have several ambitious concepts in development that we aren’t quite ready to unveil. When the timing is right, we will return with your favorite events and share more details about the innovations we have planned.

View this period as a phase of reconstruction—laying a more robust foundation that will enable us to craft more dynamic, engaging, and flexible event formats with a wider variety of themes and durations.

In the meantime, our commitment to expanding Euro Truck Simulator 2 and American Truck Simulator remains unchanged. We will continue to provide regular updates, new content, and technical refinements as we move forward.

We are incredibly grateful for your continued passion and support. Your feedback is the engine that keeps us moving.

We look forward to seeing you on the road.
