Cruising Iceland: World of Trucks Event

To celebrate the release of the Iceland DLC, join us on Tuesday, 10 November for our latest World of Trucks event: Cruising Iceland! Explore the Land of Fire and Ice, with its volcanic peaks, powerful waterfalls, ancient glaciers and skies illuminated by the aurora.

Ready for the challenge? Deliver cargo to or from any city in Iceland and help the community reach its shared target of 175,000,000 km. With the #BestCommunityEver on the road, no destination is too far!

Join the #CruisingIceland adventure along the legendary Ring Road, where every turn reveals something new—from black-sand beaches and volcanic plains to the dramatic fjords of the east and west. Iceland’s appeal goes well beyond its landscapes: it is a place steeped in more than a thousand years of history. Vikings settled here and established one of the world’s oldest parliaments. Medieval sagas were composed on the island and remain readable in their original language, while tales of trolls and hidden people endure among the moss-covered lava fields.

The island’s wildlife is equally remarkable. Puffins, Arctic foxes and whales all make their home here, while horses and sheep can often be spotted grazing beside the roads. As you support Iceland’s economy, you’ll transport a variety of goods, from fresh seafood to geothermal equipment, across this striking land of extremes.

Look out for these memorable sights along the way:

• The Ring Road, or Route 1, which circles the entire island.
• The Haukadalur geothermal area, home to Strokkur geyser and its spectacular eruptions.
• Iceland’s narrow bridges, where drivers must give way and cross one lane at a time.
• Reykjavík, the world’s northernmost capital, known for its colourful character and lively atmosphere.

As with previous Cruising events, you may use your own trailer by choosing jobs from the External Market.

The Iceland DLC includes 14 cities to discover. To complete your personal goal and earn its reward, deliver cargo to or from every city. Each qualifying job must cover at least 150 km.

Set off on an unforgettable trip through the Land of Fire and Ice, from coastal fishing villages to immense volcanic plateaus. Iceland’s roads are waiting—will you answer the call?
