Where Winds Meet Receives Update 1.2 with New Content and Guild Battles
The project continues to flourish, steadily expanding its horizons with a wealth of new content and features.
Everstone Studio has officially deployed Update 1.2 for its open-world action RPG, Where Winds Meet.
The centerpiece of this update is the narrative climax for the Kaifeng region, titled “Kaifeng Final Volume: Gambit Beneath the Shimmer.” This finale concludes the local story arc and paves the way for the next major phase of the main campaign, “Supreme Freedom.”
In addition to the story expansion, players can now explore two uncharted territories: the Nine Mortal Ways stronghold and the Mistveil Prison. Each location is packed with unique world events, challenging dungeons, and exclusive rewards.
Competitive play sees a major boost with the launch of the Guild Battle preseason. This mode introduces structured phases for preparation and combat, regional matchmaking for balanced encounters, and a dedicated reward track for participating factions.
The update further enriches the world with fresh side quests, specialized activities designed for both newcomers and returning veterans, and limited-time events celebrating in-game festivities.
On the technical side, the patch introduces a refined training mode, an enhanced photo mode, and several quality-of-life improvements for cooperative play. Everstone Studio has also implemented extensive optimizations to bolster console stability and ensure more responsive gamepad controls.
