HYPERyuki: Snowboard Syndicate confirms Switch 2 release for early 2027
Acclaim and Wabisabi Games have announced a Nintendo Switch 2 version of HYPERyuki: Snowboard Syndicate for early 2027. The arcade snowboarding game appeared in Nintendo’s Indie World Showcase with a new trailer.
Players chain tricks to build boost, race down courses inspired by real locations and choose from an unusual roster that includes a kaiju and a sentient taco. The Switch 2 version supports docked and handheld play.
Challenge mode focuses on objectives and scores, Race pits riders against opponents, and Chill offers an endless route for exploration. The developers also promise online play for up to eight players and local split-screen multiplayer.
The game is also planned for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and PC. Acclaim says a Steam demo will arrive in November. The PC store page currently lists the full release for the first quarter of 2027.
