Bolt of Whalington demo arrives November 5 with a cat-piloted mech and a floating whale city
Orca Studio and publisher UltraPlayers have announced a November 5 Steam demo for Bolt of Whalington, a puzzle adventure about a cat exploring a mechanical city built on a floating whale. The demo is scheduled to unlock at 03:00 UTC.
The cat travels inside a mech and uses a Rule Terminal to change how parts of the world behave. Turning into a mouse opens narrow passages, while other rules enable movement along gravity walls or create platforms from light.
The demo will include a fully playable Kitchen area and a partial look at three other districts. The developers estimate 60–90 minutes for the main route, or 90–150 minutes for players who explore more thoroughly.
UltraPlayers plans the full release for 2027. The Steam page currently lists the game as coming soon.
