Soon, thanks to new boxed sets for the Warhammer: The Horus Heresy tabletop game, you’ll be able to bolster your army with Cataphract-pattern Terminators, a Leviathan dreadnought, a Vultarax automaton, and Skitarii units.
The team behind the Warhammer: The Horus Heresy tabletop range has unveiled several new miniature boxed sets.
The “Siege Battle Group” pack will be split into two distinct boxes. The first delivers the classic pairing of power hammers and volkite weapons, while the second brings a more modern combination of power fists and combi‑bolters.
The full contents of the box set are as follows: a unit of six Cataphract-pattern terminators armed with hammers and volkite weapons, six terminators equipped with combi‑bolters and power fists, ten troopers of a breaching squad, a Leviathan dreadnought fitted with a siege claw and drill, plus decal sheets for the Space Marines and the dreadnought.
And with the “Mechanicum Skitarii Battle Squad” pack, players will obtain 16 War Pilgrims, a Marshal of the War Pilgrims, the Vultarax automaton, and a “Mechanicum Macroconstructs” decal sheet containing 394 individual transfers.
A tactical booklet titled “Skitarii – The Steel Hand of Mars” will also be released. It provides background on the Skitarii and details a set of new missions called “Relic Hunt.”
In these missions, players must seize items of unknown worth amid the fighting — only after analysis will the true value of their spoils be revealed.
