In the spring of 2026, fans of gridiron action and the fantasy world of Warhammer will finally get their hands on Warhammer Blood Bowl for consoles and PC. Additionally, Steam users will be able to dive into the action early this March with a demo featuring the fast-paced “Rumble” mode.
Publisher Nacon and Cyanide Studio have officially announced Warhammer Blood Bowl, a turn-based sports game that brings the brutal fantasy American football of the iconic tabletop series to life.
At launch, the title will feature 26 distinct factions, a wide array of tournaments, and robust solo and multiplayer modes. Built upon the latest official ruleset of the newest tabletop edition, the game also introduces two brand-new factions to the fray: the Tomb Kings and the Bretonnians.
The experience boasts refined mechanics, updated rosters, new competitive structures, and comprehensive tutorials. A highlight of the package is the “Rumble” mode, which offers high-intensity 30-minute matches played on smaller pitches with condensed team sizes.
Warhammer Blood Bowl is slated for release on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC (Steam and Epic Games Store) in Spring 2026. In a generous move for returning fans, current owners of Blood Bowl III will receive the new game for free, maintaining their accounts along with all previously purchased or unlocked content.
A Steam-exclusive demo showcasing the new “Rumble” mode will be playable from March 18 to March 25.
Through this preview, players can test not only “Rumble” but also standard PvP and PvE matches. The demo includes five pre-configured teams representing various factions: Dark Elves, Lizardmen, Necromantic Horror, Khorne, and the Old World Alliance.
