Warhammer Age of Sigmar Book The Whispering Blade Announced Featuring Zef Drarik’s Return
Readers will soon be able to pre-order Hal Wilson’s book Whisperblade, which follows the new adventures of Zeleph Erix as he attempts to find the lost fortress of Udriste in the Warhammer Age of Sigmar universe.
Publisher Black Library has announced Whisperblade, the first full-length Warhammer Age of Sigmar novel by author Hal Wilson.

The book centers on Zeleph Erix, a whisperblade dispatched on a crusade into the darkest corners of Shyish. After the City of Crows, Lethis, faces a mysterious danger, a search begins for the lost fortress of Udriste, whose near-mythical lore and weapons could save Lethis.
Among the crusade’s troops, surrounded by the growing madness of the Realm of Death, insubordination and infighting are brewing—precisely the kind of turmoil Erix is tasked with preventing. As this desperate mission unfolds, hidden threats stalk him, raising questions about whether they will find Udriste in time to save Lethis, and whether his own sanity and the sanity of his companions can withstand the journey.

Whisperblade will soon be available for pre-order. In the meantime, readers can learn more about the City of Crows in John French’s novel Dead Kingdom, and follow those who have sworn to save the Mortal Realms for humanity in David Annandale’s novel Callis and Toll.
Hal Wilson previously wrote about Zeleph Erix in the short story “The Wayfarer”.
