Warhammer 40,000 enthusiasts will soon be able to bolster their armies with the “Destrier,” a formidable Bellatus-class Imperial Knight outfitted with rocket-propelled power lances, devastating chainswords, a Punisher Gatling Cannon, and a Shard Bombard.
The designers of Warhammer 40,000 have pulled back the curtain on their latest miniature: the Destrier. This Bellatus-class Imperial Knight is highly regarded for its exceptional battlefield speed and lethal elegance.
The rear of its carapace is dominated by two massive rocket boosters. The thrust generated by these engines is so intense that the war machine’s legs have been fitted with heavy-duty counterweights to ensure it remains upright during high-velocity charges.
The Destrier utilizes its superior maneuverability to intercept enemies and initiate close-quarters combat rapidly. In the heat of battle, it employs “Thunderstrike” spears—specialized power lances with integrated rocket engines capable of piercing the heaviest armor plating—alongside chainswords designed to shred through enemy infantry.
Furthermore, the Knight is equipped with Punisher Gatling Cannons and a Shard Bombard for ranged dominance. While its chassis is more compact than that of the Questoris-class, it remains significantly larger and more imposing than the Armiger-class walkers.
The Destrier will take to the field alongside its Adeptus Mechanicus allies when the next major expansion for Warhammer 40,000 is released.
