Update 5.5: Deck Drop has officially arrived for The Last Caretaker.

This marks our seventh Early Access milestone and serves as an extra content drop released independently of our initial roadmap.

While Update 6 is already heavily underway, we managed to finalize a substantial wave of content, optimizations, bug fixes, and quality-of-life enhancements. Rather than holding them back, we wanted to get these improvements into your hands right away.

Deck Drop introduces versatile portable storage containers alongside massive storage tanks for Batteries, Petrol, and Diesel.

This update also includes vital refinements for large Diesel reservoirs, container color customization, digital displays, localized translations, and their corresponding interactive elements.

NEW QUESTS AND WORLD CONTENT

The MOSES Field Reserve Program quest is now live at Warehouse Alpha.

Discover newly integrated Memories and HoloMemories hidden throughout the sprawling landscape.

Advanced security cameras have been installed within the Transposium Rooms.

Visual fidelity for ancient cave paintings has been significantly elevated.

All quest logs, Memories, inventory items, subtitles, and geographic labels have received a thorough textual pass.

EXPANDED GYROCOPTER INFRASTRUCTURE

Navigate the skies more easily with new Gyrocopter landing pads and towering Gyro structures.

Overall vehicle camera responsiveness has also been fine-tuned across multiple modes of transport.

Ammunition crafting times have been adjusted to a steady 10 seconds.

The Reactive Core recipe now demands Quantum Crystals rather than Plasma Gel.

The Grenade Ignition Box now properly requires an Uncommon Component.

Weapon creation and attachment crafting costs have been rebalanced.

BUG FIXES AND POLISH
  1. Squashed intermittent crashes that could occur during active gameplay.

  2. Resolved a glitch where rocket capsule fabrication became permanently locked post-landing.

  3. Fixed an issue preventing players from assembling a rocket payload when loading legacy saves.

  2. Widened an overly restrictive, bottlenecked tunnel formation in Twin Tide Cave.

  3. Removed phantom invisible collision surfaces lingering around Sanctuary rooftops.

  4. Patched an unintended out-of-bounds vulnerability inside the Forth Chamber.

  5. Resolved complex collision snags within Quarantine Amen.

  6. Fixed problematic collision geometry inside the Spire of Command.

  7. Extricated a spot where players frequently grew stuck behind pipes in Tommy’s secret room.

  8. Made a previously unreachable paint can interactable in Lyra.

  9. Anchored a floating handrail asset in Habitat 04.

  10. Removed a duplicate, clipping container door found in Habitat 05.

  11. Fixed an unresponsive door mechanism within Habitat 03.

  12. Improved visibility and collection angles for hidden cash stashes inside Habitat 03.

  13. Corrected stubborn mesh clipping along the Dumpster’s discharge hatch.

  14. Refined joint and hinge physics on the Quarantine Chorus security doors.

  15. Fixed a misaligned elevator button frame situated at Exodus Station.
