Daft Punk is going one-on-one in an entire brand-new method, with Madame Tussauds New York exposing brand-new wax numbers of the French duo.
Capturing both — Thomas Bangalter and Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo — in their Random Access Memories-period silk and velour fits, the numbers debuted in the center on Tuesday (Feb. 27.) The duo are mounted in the center’s “Glow Gala” location, motivated by New York’s gala scene, with a no-scrubs team of neighboring numbers consisting of Ariana Grande, Matthew McConaughey, Rihanna and Beyoncé.
With developers not needing to concentrate on the faces of the constantly helmeted musicians, the emphasis in this job got on the garments, with the wax Daft Punk showing off custom-tailored reproductions of Saint Laurent’s black sequined Le Smoking coat fits developed by Hedi Slimane for Daft Punk’s Random Access Memories job. The numbers prolong a significant 10-year wedding anniversary party for both’s Grammy cd of the year victor.
The numbers were initial revealed at an event at Brooklyn club Avant Gardner, place on in cooperation with French DJ cumulative Maison Disco.

Daft Punk are the current in a long line of artists to obtain the renowned Madame Tussauds therapy, with Bad Bunny, Travis Barker and RuPaul all just recently obtaining numbers. The background of Madame Tussauds returns to 1835 London, when a wax gallery was started by French wax artist Marie Tussaud.
