The game’s milestone anniversary is being celebrated in grand style.
In October 2025, fans mark the 20th anniversary of Serious Sam 2. The developers have joined the celebration of the “meat shooter.”
Croteam has released the “20th Anniversary Update” for Serious Sam 2:
- Steam community items: emoticons, profile backgrounds, trading cards, avatar frames, and animated avatars.
- The comprehensive cosmetic Renovation Mod is now officially part of the game (UI overhaul, visual upgrades, and more).
- Original menu sounds have been restored.
- Animation updates.
- Videos now play in fullscreen mode.
- Level-specific fixes.
- Settings improvements, including an enhanced gamepad button menu.
