The secret is finally out: Tom Holland and Zendaya have officially tied the knot. Following months of fervent fan speculation, the actor confirmed their marriage in a candid cover feature for the July/August issue of Esquire.
Holland addressed the news while discussing the bizarre viral AI-generated photos that suggested the couple had held a secret ceremony earlier this year. He recalled a humorous interaction with his grandmother, who briefly worried she had missed the invitation. However, Holland noted that he didn’t need to clarify the situation to those closest to them, as, in his words, “they were all there.”
The couple, who first met on the set of Spider-Man: Homecoming in 2016, have kept their relationship largely private despite intense public interest. Reflecting on their bond, Holland described their life together as a rare privilege. “It’s comforting to have a foundation that can weather any storm,” he shared. “We provide a level of support for one another that only we can, because we both truly understand the pressures of this industry. That is a luxury I don’t think I could find with anyone else.”
Expressing his gratitude for their partnership, Holland added, “I’ve found my person. She is my best friend, and I’ve never felt more secure, supported, or happier than I do by her side.”
While the pair only recently offered official confirmation, eagle-eyed fans had suspected the wedding had taken place for some time. Hints began to circulate after stylist Law Roach let slip in a March 1 interview with Access Hollywood that the nuptials had already occurred, firmly telling interviewers, “You missed it, it’s very true.” Zendaya also previously addressed the rumors during a lighthearted appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live!, where she debunked the viral AI photos, even as the couple’s real-life commitment moved forward behind the scenes.
