Three years until the Max Payne 1&2 remake?

Last message about remake of the first two parts of Max Payne was dated April – then the project came out of “trying on” stage and moved on to concept. From latest report it became known that the development had reached the “pre-production” stage.

Based on the schedule previously published by Remedy itself, we can conclude that work on the game may take another 2.5 to 3 years. Therefore, the process may be completed by the fall of 2026. True, this does not mean that the release will take place immediately. Since Rockstar Games is funding, it will have a direct impact on the release date of the third-person shooter for PC, PS5 and Xbox Series X/S. It is possible that it will largely depend on GTA 6.

What you can be sure of is the quality of the product. The studio, which released the originals more than 20 years ago, will certainly take care of its own creation. And its latest title, released literally over the weekend, Alan Wake 2, only once again convinces of this – the sequel has received excellent reviews from players and critics.
