The studio plans to integrate NVIDIA’s RTX Mega Geometry into the upcoming Witcher 4. NVIDIA recently showcased the potential of this technology through a stunning demonstration of a hyper-realistic forest environment:
RTX Mega Geometry makes it possible to achieve “full path tracing for the first time” within incredibly dense scenes. This allows for the rendering of millions of unique plants, complex animations, and precise real-time lighting with unprecedented fidelity.
Engineers at CDPR are currently collaborating with Epic Games and NVIDIA to seamlessly weave RTX Mega Geometry into their development workflow:
