Native PS5 Game Launch on PC May Be a Month Away as Enthusiasts Near Finishing Decryption
If the current pace holds, the AnyPS5 developers will finish their work in 24 days. After that, PS5 games could run natively on PC without emulation.
The developers of the AnyPS5 project have decoded 100% of the PlayStation 5’s graphics shader instructions. Their study of the console’s system libraries is 89.44% complete. At the current pace, they will need about 24 more days to finish.

Advances in AI are speeding up the decompilation of console games and opening a path to running exclusives on PC without emulation. A similar process is already underway with PS4 games.
Even though the PS5 libraries are not fully studied, enthusiasts have already prepared the first native port. It is God of War: Sons of Sparta, which runs on PC without an emulator. Once the system libraries are fully decoded, more fan-made ports can be expected.
