Movement of talent between studios is routine in the games industry, but occasionally a team gains a particularly valuable expert.
The developers behind Kingdom Come: Deliverance have a reputation for crafting rich, authentic worlds rooted in Slavic heritage. That expertise shows not only in the finely detailed environments but also in the storytelling, which gives the game its distinctive atmosphere. For that reason, CD Projekt RED extended an invitation to one of Warhorse Studios’ principal developers — Karel Kolman.
Kolman began his career as a writer on the original Kingdom Come and later led the team responsible for gameplay on its follow-up. He has now joined CD Projekt RED as a Senior Quest Designer. His presence should help ensure that The Witcher 4 (or Cyberpunk 2) features carefully constructed, emotionally resonant quests.
