The Most Discussed Superheroes Among Russians Revealed
The streaming platform KION, in collaboration with the media monitoring and analytics service Medialogia, has conducted a study identifying the superheroes who generated the most buzz across Russian-language social media.
The top three rankings are led by Spider-Man (838,000 mentions), followed by Supergirl (305,400), and Iron Man (265,300). Rounding out the top ten are Batman, Deadpool, Hulk, Wolverine, Captain America, Hawkeye, and Thor.
Marvel continues to maintain its undisputed dominance in the superhero landscape, significantly outperforming both DC and Russia’s own Bubble Comics franchise, “Major Grom.” The most discussed actors within the comic book movie genre include Tom Holland (Spider-Man), Robert Downey Jr. (Iron Man/Doctor Doom), Milly Alcock (Supergirl), Tobey Maguire, and Chris Hemsworth.
The latest Spider-Man blockbuster, “New Day,” premiered globally this week, with industry experts projecting it to achieve one of the most successful opening weekends in cinematic history.
