Fans of the Warhammer Age of Sigmar universe now have the chance to examine the Bren Tylis miniature — the Saintly Renegade — who will be one of the four principal heroes in the board game Warhammer Quest: Darkwater.
The team behind the Warhammer Quest: Darkwater tabletop game has already unveiled the miniatures of Drolf Ironhead and Edmark Valoran. Today they’re introducing players to Bren Tylis, the Saintly Renegade.
She’s a hardened mercenary and bladeswoman who has fought all across Gyran and far beyond. Bren’s ancestor was Saint Yondara Tylis — a legendary heroine who fell defending the Jade Abbey. Yondara’s bones were discovered and enshrined in the Temple of Sigmar, together with fragments of her war gear.
The saint’s spirit clung to those relics, waiting for someone worthy to claim them. Centuries later, when Yondara sensed a rising darkness in the Abbey, she urged Bren — her sole surviving descendant — to confront the threat.
The temple priests refused to entrust the relics to a “mere mercenary,” so Bren stole the artifacts. Guided by her ancestor’s counsel, Tylis is resolved to accomplish something glorious at last after a career stained by ignoble bloodshed.
