Baldur’s Gate 3 Modder Unveils World of Warcraft-Style Campaign With New Region, Quests and Dungeons
Modder SquallyDaBeanz has released Forsaken, a large-scale Baldur’s Gate 3 campaign inspired by World of Warcraft.
The mod offers a new region to explore and several dozen quests. Its map is based on Tirisfal Glades, the undead starting area in World of Warcraft. The current release includes the first act, with dungeons, new items, secrets, and more.
The story is not connected to the world of Baldur’s Gate 3: “You play as one of the Forsaken, an undead who recently awoke to discover that you are no longer under the Lich King’s control. Now you must find your place in this new world among the other freed undead and fight alongside them to reclaim the kingdom of Lordaeron.”
SquallyDaBeanz said some dialogue options depend on the character’s class, and the campaign also includes skill checks. The modder plans to expand their use in the future.
Forsaken – Custom Campaign – Act 1 is available for free on Nexus Mods.

Larian Studios is currently working on a new installment in the Divinity franchise. The game does not yet have a specific release date.
