Pearl Abyss has released update 2.04.05 for Crimson Desert Enhanced, fixing several bugs that blocked players from completing quests.

The studio continues to address technical problems following the late October release of Charting the Unknown, a major paid expansion for Crimson Desert Enhanced on PC and consoles. Pearl Abyss reviewed player feedback and soon began actively releasing patches for the game.

Crimson Desert Enhanced has received several full patches and a hotfix over the past few days. The recent 2.04.05 update fixes the following issues:

  • A crash during the battle with Wild Fang Ravok.
  • A bug that prevented players from completing Damiana’s exclusive quest “From the Ashes” during a certain period after finishing the main quest “The End of the Road.”
  • A bug that prevented players from completing marriage proposal quests with some Witches.
  • A bug that prevented players from completing Cliff’s quest “Beyond the Edge” if they did not have a fishing rod.

The developers have also received reports of a bug that prevents players from completing the Greymane faction quests when playing as Damiana or Unka. They are working on a fix.

Early reviews of Crimson Desert Enhanced: Charting the Unknown are “mostly positive,” with a 71% rating after nearly 1,000 user reviews. Some players have complained about technical problems and believe the DLC was not tested enough.
