The Flaming Lips, The Cribs, and Venna Headline 2026 Somerset House Summer Series

The prestigious Somerset House Summer Series has officially unveiled its 2026 lineup, showcasing an eclectic mix of global talent. Held in partnership with American Express, the concert series returns to the iconic outdoor courtyard in London from July 16 to July 26.
The festivities commence on July 16 with a performance by the rising pop sensation Naïka. The schedule continues to gain momentum with the Lightning Seeds headlining on July 19, followed by indie mainstays The Cribs on July 20. The later dates feature jazz visionary Venna on July 23, the psychedelic mastery of The Flaming Lips on July 25, and a closing performance by Mercury Prize laureate Benjamin Clementine on July 26.
The 11-night residency also features a diverse roster including Agnes Obel, Thee Sacred Souls, Palace, Black Country, New Road, and Raf-Saperra.
Tickets for the entire series will be available to the general public starting at 10 a.m. GMT on Friday, March 6, via the Somerset House website. Early access options are available for American Express cardholders and Somerset House newsletter subscribers.
In addition to the live performances, this year introduces HOLY POP!, a specialized exhibition that delves into the intersection of identity and obsessive fandom. The curated showcase features art and memorabilia dedicated to cultural icons such as David Bowie, Prince, Britney Spears, Aaliyah, and George Michael.
Matthew Cook, Somerset House’s Head of Live Events, highlighted the breadth of this year’s programming. “We are thrilled to present a lineup that bridges generations and genres,” Cook stated. “From industry trailblazers to the next wave of innovators, the Summer Series remains a celebration of artistic individuality within the magnificent setting of our open-air courtyard.”
Launched in 2003, the Somerset House Summer Series has evolved into a cornerstone of London’s seasonal music calendar. Over the past two decades, the stage has hosted landmark performances from artists including Adele, Amy Winehouse, Rosalía, Patti Smith, and Tems.
