A fresh patch for Team Fortress 2 is now live and will install automatically upon restarting the game. Key highlights of this update include:

  • Introduced the sv_wallbug console variable, restoring legacy movement mechanics on community servers (addressing the oversight mentioned below)
  • Resolved a persistent screen-stuttering bug triggered during lengthy play sessions
  • Patched a game-crashing issue linked to snd_mix_async
  • Addressed stability concerns with sv_parallel_sendsnapshot
  • Fixed an issue preventing the Marshlands contract from activating properly
  • Corrected the Skeleton Crew cosmetic so it now correctly hides the Sniper’s ammunition
  • Fixed the Bone Chiller cosmetic to ensure the appropriate bodygroup is hidden
  • Ensured custom bodygroup configurations for alternate styles now apply correctly to disguised Spies
