Team Fortress 2 Update from July 16, 2026

A fresh update for Team Fortress 2 has been deployed. Simply restart your game client to automatically download and install the latest changes. The key highlights include:

• Taxi Cabbed War Paint Refinements:
  • Corrected the mipmap configurations for decal assets.
  • Resolved an issue where the incorrect wear texture was being applied.
• Tournament Medals: Updated existing entries and integrated several new additions.
• Map Adjustments (koth_dryfield):
  • Patched an exploit involving teleporter-based entrapment.
  • Repaired malformed geometry affecting the RED team’s hut adjacent to the capture point.
  • Implemented a fix for a visual anomaly where a RED roof appeared to hover when viewed from a distance.
  • Corrected the orientation of the water cooler.
  • Streamlined navigation to the balcony area to facilitate smoother movement and jumping.
  • Applied numerous player collision clips to resolve geometry gaps.
