Arma 3 Community Radar #24: Western Sahara and new terrains

Bohemia Interactive published Arma 3 Community Radar #24 on December 15, 2021. Justin LeClair’s holiday issue covered work inspired by the Western Sahara Creator DLC, projects still in development, multiplayer events, videos, and two charity streams.

Whiplash assembled units from every Creator DLC released at that point to mark the arrival of Western Sahara. Farsight depicted Tura fighters crossing the dunes of Sefrou-Ramal at night. The art section also included Polish infantry using the PSZ: Polish Armed Forces mod and a holiday scene made by the 16th Air Assault Milsim Community.

Alwarren previewed the CUP team’s T-90M Proryv-3 and T-90MS Tagil tanks with custom interiors. Terrain creator IceBreakr shared work on Monte Risco, based on northern Italy, and another map based on Pilanesberg National Park in South Africa. The FFAA Mod Team showed an Armada Española SH-3D Sea King model being built by Hellboy_ES.

Events, videos, and fundraising

Elite Corps marked its seventeenth anniversary, and OFCRA met Friday Night Fights in a 50-versus-50 event. The issue also recorded a memorial for NAK Squad administrator Walker CJ and an MVP award for Kristjan “Naffes” Kattus after the PRO Circuit CUP I.

The video section included R3F’s “Delta Mike” unit cinematic, Rober’s JTAC and close-air-support demonstration, and PuppyGhost’s selection of five vehicle mods. UselessFodder worked with the Wounded Warrior Project during Warrior Week, where VICTOR BRAVO TWO raised more than $600. The wider campaign finished at $136,755. Gruppe Adler raised more than €3,000 for One Earth – One Ocean during a Tracks ‘n’ Traps session.
