Arma 3 Community Radar #21: TERRACORE and Nogovan Forces

Bohemia Interactive published Arma 3 Community Radar #21 on April 1, 2021. The issue collected recent community artwork, mods, operations, videos, and streams rather than announcing a game update.

Artwork and mods in Community Radar #21

The art section included Span Oddity’s “Trident,” which brought AAF, Livonian, and NATO soldiers together in one illustration. JohnPAB97 placed the HMS Proteus beneath a destroyer fleet, while Samcot used the SPz1 infantry fighting vehicle from Global Mobilization Update 1.3. The roundup also covered Baxticus Meridius’s Arma-themed tarot cards and João Mariottini’s sketch of the Edita tank.

Mod releases ranged from tools for mission makers to new Cold War assets. Red Hammer Studios released TERRACORE with more than 70 objects for terrain developers. Rismarck updated Static Animations to version 2.0.0, and R0adki11 published an alpha of Cold War – Nogovan Armed Forces. The Bearing mod demonstrated a fog-of-war overlay built with the engine’s drawTriangle command. Leopard20’s Advanced Developer Tools added syntax highlighting and faster configuration browsing.

Operations and videos

Community Radar #21 also featured Callum, a British Army combat medical technician who stayed connected with friends through Arma during the COVID-19 pandemic. Diana Pomortseva and Maria Komarova showed work from the Art of War competition, and Greenfist converted an archive of screenshots into phone wallpapers.

The video section linked Dslyecxi’s tactical review of a hot extraction, Viper1Zero’s fifteen Arma 3 tips for 2021, and a zombie-themed machinima by ThatWasNinja. Dslyecxi’s Hindsight episode remains available on YouTube.
