We’re thrilled to be heading back to Bend, Oregon, from June 6th to 9th, to participate in the Western Star‘s spectacular Star Nation Experience 2025! Joining us, Western Star Trucks, and the Star Nation community are two fortunate American Truck Simulator enthusiasts who have won this all-expenses-paid adventure. Let’s introduce them.
Last year, it was a privilege to be part of the Western Star 2024 Star Nation Experience in the rugged wilderness of Oregon. The thrill of off-road trucking, fly fishing, and ATV rides made it a memorable celebration of the Western Star community. A highlight was the exclusive behind-the-scenes tour and driver challenge at Daimler Truck’s High Desert Proving Grounds in Madras. You can watch our SCS On The Road episode from last year’s event below. We anticipate this year will be equally exhilarating.
Recently, Western Star announced the winners, selected not only from their community but ours too, inviting two ATS players to join the fun. They’ll also bring back two past SNE alumni, Casey LaDelle and Tatiana DeYoung, who will serve as coaches for this year’s Get Tough Challenge. As mentioned, we are excited to participate in this extraordinary event, represented by Oscar and Beny. They’ll meet the amazing group of winners and the Western Star team while documenting the entire weekend for a special SCS On The Road episode. Now, let’s meet our two #BestCommunityEver participants!
Tyler works at a construction company specializing in large-scale infrastructure, a field where reliable heavy-duty machinery is vital. Off the job site, he’s an enthusiastic American Truck Simulator player, bridging his professional experience with a passion for virtual trucking. He admires the authenticity and detail brought to Western Star trucks in the game.
“Western Stars feel like the last tough trucks out there. The new 49X is a robust truck that also provides a comfortable ride,” he shares, acknowledging its power and comfort from his real-life experiences.
Alex is a long-time fan of Western Star and American Truck Simulator, with his connection to the brand stemming from childhood.
“My folks met in Portland, and during a visit there as a kid, I saw my first Western Star tridem log truck, which made a lasting impression. It’s my favorite brand to engage with, having logged thousands of miles in both an SFA and an SBA 49X. Seven years ago, a medical event left me struggling to walk, but through perseverance and physical therapy, the #NeverBackDown motto isn’t just a slogan for me; it’s a guide for overcoming life’s challenges.”
We extend our gratitude to Western Star Trucks for this amazing opportunity to partake once more in this adventure, alongside our community. Stay updated with Western Star’s Facebook and Instagram, as well as our X/Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, Bluesky, and Facebook to catch all the updates from the Star Nation Experience 2025. Oregon, here we come!
