The acclaimed Australian indie rock quartet, Spacey Jane, has officially broken their silence with the release of a vibrant new single titled “Do You Really Love Her.” Alongside the track’s cinematic music video, the band has mapped out an ambitious North American tour for the summer—marking their first creative output since the arrival of their celebrated third studio album, If That Makes Sense.
According to frontman Caleb Harper, the new track was a hidden gem from previous recording sessions that finally found its moment. “For one reason or another, the song didn’t quite align with the atmosphere of the last album, but we remained committed to sharing it eventually,” Harper noted in a recent statement.
“This release, and the ones that will follow, are something of a creative experiment—tracks we adore that didn’t find a home on a full-length record.”

Conceived on the iconic Mulholland Drive in the Hollywood Hills, the track was co-written with Sarah Aarons and Joel Little, with production handled by John Hill. The single leans heavily into the gritty, melodic heritage of Australian pub rock. Harper cited legendary acts like INXS, The Church, and Icehouse as pivotal influences, describing their sound as both a nostalgic touchstone and a modern inspiration.
Summer Tour and Festival Highlights
The If That Makes Sense Tour is slated to kick off on June 2 in New Haven, Connecticut. The band is set to grace major stages throughout the season, including high-profile appearances at the Governors Ball Music Festival (June 6), Bonnaroo (June 14), and Montreal’s Osheaga Festival (August 2).
In addition to their headlining dates, Spacey Jane will provide direct support for Rainbow Kitten Surprise on a string of amphitheater shows. Notable stops include the Greek Theatre in Los Angeles on July 21 and Denver’s Fiddler’s Green Amphitheatre on July 25. Ticket presales commence March 17, with general availability starting March 20.
Fans of physical media also have something to look forward to this April for Record Store Day. The band will unveil Live at The Hordern Pavilion (Sydney, NSW) 2025, a live LP capturing the energy of their three-night sold-out residency at the historic Australian venue.
Since their debut, Spacey Jane has remained a dominant force in the indie scene. Their latest record, If That Makes Sense, reached No. 2 on the ARIA Albums Chart and secured multiple nominations at the 2025 ARIA Awards. This follows the monumental success of their 2020 debut, Sunlight, which featured the 7x platinum anthem “Booster Seat.”
