The developers of the truck driving simulator American Truck Simulator are preparing for the release of their next expansion, which will add the state of South Dakota to the game.
Studio SCS Software has released a full trailer for South Dakota, announced the release date, and shared details about the DLC, noting that the developers have recreated various landmarks and more:
As the release approaches, our teams are putting the finishing touches on the DLC and making sure everything is ready for launch. South Dakota will offer truckers plenty of places to explore. You will drive across the expansive Great Plains, pass through the stunning Badlands National Park, and explore the rocky formations of the Black Hills, encountering iconic landmarks along the way, including the famous Mount Rushmore National Memorial, the Falls of Sioux Falls, the Dignity of Earth and Sky statue overlooking the Missouri River, the Corn Palace, Hot Springs, and more.

SCS Software is also continuing to prepare the new Road Trip game mode for American Truck Simulator, which will allow players to explore the United States in standard passenger cars.
