Solomon has unveiled an exclusive performance slated for June 19 at the newly inaugurated Pacha New York. This event marks a significant milestone as the artist’s inaugural set at the venue’s launch weekend in Brooklyn. Conceived as a heartfelt thank-you to the dedicated fans who endured torrential rain during his May sets at the Fulton Fish Market and Knockdown Center, this complimentary show represents a rare departure from the artist’s rigid touring protocols.
“The stars simply aligned,” the artist shared via social media on Thursday. “While I was approached to headline the opening of Pacha New York—a brand that has been a cornerstone of my career for fourteen years—I initially declined. My policy has always been to remain in Europe throughout the summer season to avoid long-haul travel and time zone fatigue. However, the sheer resilience of my New York audience changed my perspective.”
Reflecting on his recent stateside experiences, he continued, “Seeing thousands of you standing in the cold and rain, never wavering in your energy, was transformative. When you showed up in force for the impromptu Knockdown Center afterparty, I realized it was time to step outside my comfort zone. I’m making the trip to help christen the new Pacha.”
Entry to the June 19 event will be managed through a lottery system for those who attended the Fulton Fish Market and Knockdown Center gatherings. Given the intimate scale of the new venue compared to his previous outdoor stages, tickets will be limited. Attendees should check their email for registration details, with a small number of VIP tables available for purchase.
This New York engagement bridges his ongoing 14th-season residency at Pacha Ibiza. Running through early October, the “+1” residency features a stellar roster of guests, including Skrillex, Peggy Gou, Jamie xx, Idris Elba, and Anyma, among others.
